Houston M. Matthews Joins Agricultural Professional Group

Denver, CO – October 20, 2016 – Houston M. Matthews with Glaub Farm Management in Jonesboro, AR has joined a network of approximately 2,000 agricultural professionals who are members of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). Matthews joins the society as an Associate Member. Associate Members are those who desire to become Professional or Accredited members, but do not yet meet the requirements. Associate Members do provide Management and/or Appraisal services on rural property belonging to others for a fee or salary.

Matthews, a rural appraiser, is now affiliated with the largest and oldest association that represents a professionally trained group who are capable of providing expert guidance and assistance to people who one and/or operate agricultural lands and rural resource properties.

The ASFMRA includes distinctive membership levels that necessitate educational standards, ethical requirements, field experience, thorough testing, and continuing education. By joining this organization, clients, associates and other individuals in the industry can more easily recognize Matthews’ personal investment in his career and a dedication to maintaining an exceptional degree of knowledge and skill.

Rural Appraisers specialize in the complex process of providing an accurate estimate for the value of rural resource properties. Appraisers take all the factors that affect a particular piece of property into consideration and prepare a custom report which provides the necessary information that landowners need to make sound selling and purchasing decisions. In addition, an Accredited Rural Appraiser is connected to a national network of professional resource information.

The ASFMRA, founded in 1929, is the nation’s pioneer organization in rural property issues and education. It’s focus is to create and maintain a professionally trained group of Accredited Farm Managers (AFM), Accredited Rural Appraisers (ARA), Real Property Review Appraisers (RPRA), and Accredited Agricultural Consultants (AAC) who are capable of providing expert guidance and assistance to people who own and/or operate agricultural lands and rural resource properties.
